We had such a wonderful wedding catering experience with Loaded Potato Catering. In the months before our wedding, Pat was extremely responsive and helped us build a menu we loved. And I seriously cannot express enough how AMAZING the food they served at our wedding was. It's been 2+ months and folks still tell us ours was the best wedding dinner they've ever had. Absolutely fantastic service and food -- what a great team!
I had never heard of the Loaded Potato before looking up local caterers to find someone to feed us for a pre-wedding-reception welcome dinner. Their reviews looked awesome and I had a good feeling about them. Right from the start communication was easy and helpful, which I really appreciated as someone who had no prior experience with booking catering and planning events. The menu is awesome and absolutely outdid our expectations. On my end, someone had forgotten to bring the appetizers tables and the caterers were very chill as we figured out how to improvise, and everything turned out perfect. My guests were soooooo happy with the meal; there was a lot of happy silence as everything was first being served, followed by a lot of raving and compliments. Some guests informed me they had left a review for the Loaded Potato as soon as they’d eaten haha. We had a local big name in catering provide our meal the next day for our wedding reception and the majority of our guests including me and my husband all preferred the Loaded Potato. You can just tell that these are good people doing what they love and putting their souls into the business. So if you’re looking for catering, do not hesitate to hire the Potatoes!!
Sam and Pat did a wonderful job at catering our events this year. The food tasted stellar and there was plenty of it! Loaded Potato Catering is PHENOMENAL! Just had them cater my wedding on 09.06.2025 and everyone LOVED their delicious food! I feel like typically for weddings-you don’t expect to have the best meal-but legitimately every single guest could not stop raving about the amazing charcuterie board, the one of a kind appetizers that were INHALED, and the delicious entrees! We hired Loaded Potato Catering for our wedding in Marquette in September and they were absolutely AMAZING!! My husband and I were a bit overwhelmed with trying to plan our wedding from 400 miles away, and Pat & Sam truly couldn’t have been more amazing! Pat and Sam were both so kind and willing to work with our wedding vision and budget. They made the process very smooth and were willing to add or take away menu items as needed. They helped us create a brunch menu and fall themed drinks to go with. We were drooling just looking at the menu that we finalized on. Our wedding day turned out way better than we could have ever expected. The food not only tasted absolutely amazing, but was displayed stunningly. All the food was fresh and you could tell the ingredients were homemade. We also did monkey bread as our wedding cake which turned out great. All of our family and friends were talking about how amazing the food was for weeks. It really brought our entire event together. Pat and Sam were so wonderful to work with and the bartender was so friendly. We really stepped out of our comfort zone hiring catering from so far away, but we are so happy we stumbled upon Loaded Potato Catering. Cannot wait for a chance to eat something from them again. We would recommend them time and time again!!
Loaded Potato handled the catering for our son and daughter-in-law‘s wedding and everything was exceptional! The crew had appetizers ready when we arrived and the meal was served right on time. The food was outstanding and numerous guests commented on how delicious it all was! Many told us it was the best meal they’ve ever had at a wedding, and some even said it surpassed any prior restaurant meals. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
We ordered a charcuterie board for snacking after graduation. It was gorgeous and delicious - a wonderful selection of meat, cheese, olives, pickles, and fruit along with several dipping sauces, including an amazing mustard and some delicious honey. At our request, they made it gluten free. Every one of our guests raved about it. It was not cheap, but was worth every penny! At the very last minute, I asked if there was a chance we could pick it up early, knowing that it might not be possible. They replied promptly and said they would try, but it would likely be ready when previously discussed. However, I received a message that they did finish it early and I could come pick it up. Of course, I didn’t expect them to change their schedule at the last moment, but they did it!
